According to the Pickens County Coroner’s Office, Logan was involved in a two-vehicle crash at approximately 3:51 a.m. at the intersection of Moorefield Memorial Highway (S.C. Highway 178) and North Freeman Road in Liberty, South Carolina. Emergency responders, including Pickens County EMS, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and Pickens County Fire Service, arrived swiftly at the scene to provide assistance and assess the situation. Despite their efforts and those of medical personnel, Logan later succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the crash.

Authorities reported that the collision involved a two-door Jeep SUV driven by Logan and a Ford crew cab pickup truck towing a boat. Following the crash, Deputy Coroner Marsha Alexander responded to Baptist Easley Hospital at approximately 4:59 a.m. in reference to the fatality. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation by the Pickens County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol. A forensic autopsy has been scheduled as part of the ongoing review.
