The Bringhurst community is mourning the tragic loss of David Majors, 44, and his son, Alexander Majors, 15, who perished in a devastating house fire early Saturday morning in Carroll County, Indiana. According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 4:10 a.m. to a residence in the 2000 block of South 500 East after reports of a working structure fire with at least one person believed to be trapped inside. Firefighters from Flora, Burlington, Cutler, Camden, and Delphi responded immediately, initiating search and rescue operations in dangerous conditions.
Authorities reported that David and Alexander were found on the second floor of the home. Despite the valiant efforts of first responders, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
