It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lynn Taylor on June 1, following a courageous and grace-filled battle with cancer. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, colleagues, students, and the entire Greer Middle School community, where she dedicated her life to education and service.
Mrs. Taylor served as a 6th grade English Language Arts teacher at Greer Middle School since 2015 and devoted more than 36 years to Greenville County Schools. Teaching was not simply her profession—it was her purpose and calling. Throughout her decades in the classroom, she shaped generations of students, helping them find their voices, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
